L.A. Noire will be 3 Discs for Xbox 360 Version

It's not surprising that Xbox is yet again having trouble with fitting a game on one disc; with the recently released Dead Space 2 being a 2-disc game. Rockstar has announced that L.A. Noire, their new crime-based detective game, will be 3 discs long on the Xbox 360 console. It is said that the game's facial-video features is the biggest cause of this issue; as well as it's vast missions and cases.

Don't be alarmed lazy gamers, for this does not mean that you are required to swap discs frequently. Rockstar has stated that the switching will take place in "natural breaks". Seeing as how the game will keep you on the edge of your seat anyway, this does not seem to be too much of a problem.

So 3 discs equals 3 times the average game? Not at all. As I stated, the space is mostly filled with the phenomenal cut scenes that take place regularly throughout story. The game is rumored to be around 25-30 hours long give or take; so all-in-all the game is still a decent length.

Fortunately for Ps3 gamers, the epic will fit unto the blu-ray disc, surprise surprise. So go ahead and chuckle you Sony fanboys.

L.A. Noire will be released for the Xbox 360 and Ps3 May 17th.
