The Witcher 2 will have no Sex Reward in Australia Version

The Witcher 2 was just given a MA15 rating in Australia for  "Strong violence, sex scenes, nudity and coarse language". Austrailian distributor Nacom Bandai has confirmed the following changes in the Austrailian version of The Witcher 2 that will not allow Gerald to complete side quests by choosing sex as a reward.

Receiving sex as a award passes the boundaries of MA15 rated games as Nacom Bandai requested it to be removed from the game entirely.

The side quest is still available but the reward will be "slightly different context". Maybe a kiss? as of now that is the only change that's expected from The Witcher 2. The game will be out May 17, 2011 for pc.

  1. Australia is extremely tight on gaming. Didn't they ban Mortal Kombat? They need to suck it up and allow full-fledge games to be released. If sex offends you, don't buy it... Cheek sweat.
