Australia to Make New Law After Playstation Network Hacking

The Australian government is planning on making a new law which will require companies to disclose info on security breaches to the public immediately. Over 1.5 million Australian accounts got hacked, and the officials in Australia are livid.

Privacy Minister Brendan O'Connor, criticized Sony publicly saying that he was "Concerned" about how the situation was handled. He also said that many other companies have also done a poor job on protecting their customers personal data, and that everyone should tighten up security wise.

Although Sony continues to state that they did not know that Customer info was compromised at all before they made it public, but that still doesn't pacify officials, or the genral public for that matter. We still want clear answers.
