Sony Gets a $1 Billion Lawsuit


McPhadden Samac Tuovi, a law firm in Toronto purposed a class action law suit against Sony. The lawsuit If won would have SONY paying in excess of $1 billion dollars
The plaintiff in this case is a PlayStation user her self, Natasha Maksimovic. In a press Release she says that:
“If you can’t trust a huge multi-national corporation like Sony to protect your private information, who can you trust,”.
This Major law suit is just one week after another was filed In U.S. District Court, accusing Sony of “negligence in data security.” The "negligence in data security." comes from The PSN outage situation were a group or one person hacked the into the PlayStation network and Stole money and other information from PSN users.
Sony is in a sticky situation, because if they don't play their cards right then they can end up owing alot of money.
